from July 2013 onwards, I work as scientific officer for the Flemish expertise centre on dementia.
Since October 2008, I am also professor at the master of social work at the university of Antwerp, teaching the module on technology and social work.
From 1995 to June 2013, I worked at the Fontys University of Professional Education in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Currently, my assignment there was with the School of Social Studies. My work focused on consultancy, research and training for third parties (city of Eindhoven, Labour offices, Ministry of Social Welfare, European Commission, ...).
From 2007 to 2011, I was adjunct research professor at the University of Southampton, linked to the Centre for Human Service Technology.
From 2002 to 2005, I was also research fellow at University of Bath, department of social and policy sciences. That continues as visiting research fellow.
From 1-5-2005 to 30-4-2006, I was on sabbatical at the University of Tilburg, looking into citizenship and public services.
Before 1995, I was working as a scientific researcher for the department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
